How to Measure Your Bra Size Accurately at Home in 3 Easy Steps

Wearing the correct bra size isn't just about looking good—it's essential for posture, breast health, and all-day comfort. If you experience shoulder digging, side spillage, or a band riding up your back, your current bra size is likely incorrect.

Step 1: Measure Your Underbust (Band Size)

Wrap a soft measuring tape directly under your bust, right where the bra band sits. Make sure the tape is snug, parallel to the floor, and you are breathing naturally. If the measurement is an odd number (e.g. 33 inches), round up to the nearest even number (34).

Step 2: Measure Your Overbust (Bust Size)

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your bust without compressing the tissue. Keep the tape straight across your back.

Step 3: Calculate Your Cup Size

Subtract your underbust measurement from your bust measurement:

  • 1 inch difference: A Cup
  • 2 inch difference: B Cup
  • 3 inch difference: C Cup
  • 4 inch difference: D Cup
  • 5 inch difference: DD Cup
'A properly fitted ETAAM bra supports 90% of the weight from the ergonomic underband, leaving your shoulders completely free of tension.'
